After you set up your mail software to download mail and you are able to download fine but can not send emails, please check the following.
Most of all email software will have an outgoing mail server section:
- Make sure you have SMTP requires authentication enabled for outgoig emails. Also make sure your full email address is entered and not just the first part of your email address.
- It is possible your ISP or the location of your internet (i.e hotels) may block server port 25. We suggest you use port 587 or 2525. This is also changed at the outgoing mail server section of your software.
- Make sure any type of encryption or SSL is NOT enabled.
